EXPERIENCE
I bring over 20 years’ specialist experience in domestic abuse and stalking, spanning frontline advocacy, senior leadership, service development, and national policy influence. My background includes accredited IDVA, IDVA Manager, and ISVA Manager roles within the Metropolitan Police Service, alongside managing refuges, counselling services, perpetrator programmes, and stalking interventions across Dorset and Somerset.
As an accredited DHR Chair with AAFDA, I have chaired multiple Domestic Homicide Reviews, authored IMRs, and led MARACs and MARMMs. I deliver expert training on stalking, coercive control, and the DASH RIC, and work as an associate trainer for leading organisations including Surviving Economic Abuse, SafeLives, Rockpool, The Hampton Trust, Interstella, and Bournemouth University.
I contribute to national and regional improvement through the Wessex CPS Scrutiny Panel, Stalking Consortium, DHR Network, and Domestic Abuse Forum. In recent years, I have spoken at the UN Women Global Webinar on Digital Abuse (2025) and served as comparator for a regional conference on the Isle of Wight (2026).

WHAT I CAN DO FOR YOU
My work is driven by a clear vision: improving the safety, response, and outcomes for those subjected to domestic abuse, stalking and VAWG. I support agencies to ensure victims, survivors, and children receive appropriate, timely, and trauma‑informed intervention. My focus is on recognising what needs to change, strengthening what already works, and helping organisations build safer, more effective systems for vulnerable members of the community.
I can work with you to evaluate your current response to domestic abuse and stalking, identify strengths and learning, and support reflective practice across teams and partnerships. Together, we can develop approaches that are Trauma Informed, Whole System and Whole Family, and grounded in the voice and experience of victims.

THE CHAIR CANOPY - A NEW CHAIR AND AUTHOR MENTORSHIP PROGRAMME
In August 2026, I launched The Chair Canopy, a structured mentorship programme designed to support new and emerging statutory review Chairs. Through this programme, I share my knowledge, experience, and learning from over two decades in the sector, helping future Chairs build confidence, competence, and ethical leadership. The Chair Canopy provides a supportive, values‑led development pathway that strengthens national capacity and improves the quality of Domestic Homicide Reviews, SARs, and DARDRs.
